Moving to London

Having had our unemployment benefit terminated by Erdington Jobcentre Plus in Birmingham on 27 September, Declan and I have exhausted our savings and have no choice but to make our way to London before the end of the week. I have been doing research on the internet about what choices homeless people have in London. Free food doesn't seem to be much of a problem, though we expect problems when it comes to places to sleep. Other difficulties we anticipate include the run around and lack of information from workers in day centres and other services, and in relation to personal safety (especially at night). Declan tells me that in this blog we will give it back as good as we get it.

For the time being, we will not be able to add new features or breaking news to our Network of those Abused by Church (NAC) website. Ironically, our last entry is an article on Britain titled "Is it time to take God out of the state?"
