Declan gets injunction hearing

As I said in the previous blog with stunning photos, last Friday our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, had her Polish builder break into our flat through a locked door and make off with the door and keys as Declan was making an emergency 999 call to the police. The door is back now but, according to Patrol Supervisor Sergeant 15YR Thornborrow, Belinda owns the door and can do what she likes with it notwithstanding that we have a Tenancy Agreement that is currently in force and pay £1000 per month in rent. Declan was therefore forced apply to the court for an injunction that prevents Belinda from entering our flat without consent. The hearing will take place on 21 August.

This is the short application Declan lodged with the Court yesterday to get the hearing date:

Our flat door is removed by the live-in landlady's builder. I am in fear of physical harm and damage to my property and want to make a statement to the police

Over an hour ago our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, had her Polish builder break into our flat through a locked door and make off with the door and the keys that he had somehow managed to knock out of the lock. While he was unscrewing the door, Declan described what was happening to a 999 emergency operator. The builder never spoke a word.

We have been waiting more than half an hour for an inspector to arrive because I am in fear of physical harm and damage to my property and want to make a statement. That's Belinda in the photograph.

12 July 2019: Threat to life: Updated complaint to the United Nations under Article 19 (freedom of expression) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Mayor of London-commissioned St Mungo's highlighted

23(ii) On 21 August 2012, Ms. McKenzie gave an undertaking to the County Court promising not to harass the Applicant and his wife following, inter alia, her builder's removal of the door to their flat (see Annex 9, p. 31). The Independent Police Complaints Commission upheld the Applicant's appeal against the police investigation of the door removal "on information only". Although harassment is a criminal offence, it was the Commission's finding that "no further action" was required by the force because Ms. McKenzie had given the said undertaking to the court.

Live-in landlady refuses to take any more rent from us

When it comes to threatening tenants in writing (who does that?) and breaching tenancy law, our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, is surely in a league of her own. As Declan substantiates in his complaint last week to the United Nations, on 29 June 2012 the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) refused in writing to investigate Belinda’s written threat of 26 June to remove all services from us as from today because the Independent Police Complaints Commission had ordered them on 26 June to re-open their investigation into her written threat last January to have us removed with the help of her builder. Now, in response to this friendly and polite email I sent her this morning, she has put in writing that she will take no more rent from us:

Belinda is not your usual 60+ landlady. I cannot list all the causes she is involved in, there are so many. She is active in groups dealing with issues as far-ranging as abuse in the church and anti-war activism, and has been involved with the Iranian community for more than 20 years; she is even described as a “noted philanthropist”. She recently started up a group with an associate called the Association of McKenzie Friends – a McKenzie friend is a lay legal advisor assisting litigants in person. The Association is necessary, they say, “because too many victims of white collar crimes encountered too many problems and their helpers and supporters as well”.

MI5 whistleblower David Shayler lived for a couple of years in one of the rooms below us until 2007. As Declan told the UN, it is unfortunate Shayler then declared that he was the Messiah, became a squatter, and was subsequently ridiculed in the press for changing his name to Delores Kane. A New Statesman article dated 11 September 2006 featuring Shayler and Belinda gives no indication that he believed he was the Messiah at that time; whilst a Daily Mail interview with Shayler explicitly shows he believed himself to be Jesus by June 2007. Belinda says this information is defamatory because it looks like Shayler went mad under her roof. However, after examination of the same information, Inspector Cam Mackie of MPS Islington Professional Standards wrote to Declan on 11 July, stating: “For reasons that are still unclear you have included a paragraph pertaining to former M15 employee David Shayler being the Messiah.” Evidently, there is nothing defamatory contained within this paragraph.

We are denied an NHS doctor

Just as well neither Declan nor I is in immediate need of a doctor, because if either of us were, I would be now trawling Google for the medical problem! After walking for over half an hour yesterday to the Beaumont Practice to register with a National Health Service (NHS) GP, I was told to go back home and ask our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, to give me permission in writing to use our rental address as my address for a GP at the practice. This morning the manager had her receptionist inform Declan that the permission letter was still insisted upon regardless of my privacy rights.

What a stitch up! Belinda has served us with notice to vacate our flat tomorrow, a fact Declan does not fail to mention in this e-letter to the Secretary of State for Health this afternoon:

Now that I am on the subject of the bizarre, what about Belinda sending an email to herself a couple of weeks ago which magically appeared in our Inbox?

Facebook redefines freedom of speech

No sooner had we sent our complaint to the United Nations under Article 19 (freedom of expression) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (see previous blog), than Facebook blocked me from sharing an excellent article critical of the Catholic hierarchy on non-religious group walls because, according to Facebook, it contains abusive content. This is the second time Facebook has done this (see blog of 19 June N4CM website navigation menu vandalised: Mission and Honorary Associates pages in About inaccessible).

Written by an ex-Anglican priest, the article draws information from N4CM Chairman Dr Stephen Mumford's book, "The Life and Death of NSSM 200: How the Destruction of Political Will Doomed a U.S. Population Policy", which can be freely read on the N4CM website. In fact, I had been given permission to republish the piece by the author. He was far from pleased to learn that his writing had been censored by Facebook.

Formal complaint to the United Nations

Yesterday we sent a complaint to the United Nations under Article 19 (freedom of expression) of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Nonetheless, this morning we lost our internet connection for the 80th recorded time since 19 April, the day our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, was forced to withdraw her claim for possession of our flat due to the “wrong information” she provided the court, to quote from an email of hers later that day (see blog of 16 April Declan lodges our defence to Possession Order). Belinda subsequently served us with notice to vacate our flat next Thursday. In paragraphs 37-43 of our complaint to the UN, Declan outlines why the Vatican and the hierarchy of the Catholic Church should be monitored:

Belinda is not your usual 60+ landlady. I cannot list all the causes she is involved in, there are so many. She is active in groups dealing with issues as far-ranging as abuse in the church, anti-war activism and lay legal advocacy, and has been involved with the Iranian community for more than 20 years; she is even described as a “noted philanthropist”. As Declan points out in paragraph 23 of our complaint to the UN:

On 29 June 2012, the Metropolitan Police Service refused in writing to investigate Ms McKenzie’s written threat of 26 June to remove all services from the Applicant and his wife as of 26 July because the Independent Police Complaints Commission had ordered them on 26 June to re-open their investigation into Ms McKenzie’s written threat of the previous January to have the Applicant and his wife removed with the help of her builder (see Annex 16 containing MPS’s refusal to investigate, pp. 37-39).

In paragraph 7 there's the fact that MI5 whistleblower David Shayler lived for a couple of years in one of the rooms below us until 2007. It is indeed unfortunate that Shayler then declared that he was the Messiah, became a squatter, and was subsequently ridiculed in the press for changing his name to Delores Kane. A New Statesman article dated 11 September 2006 featuring Shayler and Belinda gives no indication that he believed he was the Messiah at that time; whilst a Daily Mail interview with Shayler explicitly shows he believed himself to be Jesus by June 2007.

The Esquire article below is mentioned in a Guardian article dated 27 March 2012. It is an eye-opener, highlighting the monitoring and surveillance that Shayler had to live with back in 2000, and the contradictory briefings and slanders that were coming out of the British establishment and the media. The author, Dr Eamonn O'Neill, now a lecturer in journalism at Strathclyde University, also intelligently tries to address the motivations of a whistleblower.

BBC PANORAMA: The David Shayler Affair (August 1998)

According to BBC Panorama, Shayler "caused the biggest crisis of official secrecy since the spy catcher affair". In 2002, he was jailed for seven weeks for breaking the Official Secrets Act.

Declan's complaint against the Metropolitan Police Service

Last week Declan was copying Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe into emails of reply to PC 366YR Nicolov from Haringey Borough. It turns out that the Metropolitan Police Service refuse to speak with our live-in landlady, human rights activist Belinda McKenzie, for threatening us in writing on 26 June with removal of all services from the 26th of this month because the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) ordered them on 26 June to reopen their investigation into Belinda's written threat last January to have us removed with the help of her Polish builder! Now Declan is struggling to get the IPCC to refer his complaint last week to the Professional Standards Department of the Metropolitan Police NW for further consideration.

This is Declan's latest to the IPCC this morning, in which he attaches a draft letter under the pre-action protocol for judicial review for all in sundry:

As Declan has repeatedly informed the IPCC, MI5 whistleblower David Shayler lived in one of the rooms below us for a couple of years until 2007. Is it just me, or is the police officer holding the camera in this picture doing his very best to inflict as much mental anguish as possible? He certainly seems to be enjoying himself.
