Complaint to HMRC Chief Executive Jon Thompson: Declan is still waiting for assurance that HMRC has our correct address
RE: Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC)
Complaint about serious staff misconduct involving criminal or near criminal behaviour overseen by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
To HMRC Chief Executive Jon Thompson:
27 September 2016
Dear Mr Thompson,
I am concerned that HMRC letters addressed to me have been returned to HMRC undelivered. I believe that I am entitled to receive such letters, and that this is not necessarily a matter for my accountant to try and resolve. Nonetheless, my accountant has kindly offered their assistance to try and resolve this issue for me to whatever extent they can.
This afternoon I established with my accountant that HMRC falsified my address again this year, even going so far as to use my accountant's post code as my own for the second year in a row. I confirm in the strongest terms that my business and personal contact address is and has been since 12 December 2012:
254 Pentonville Road
Suite 101
Islington
London
N1 9JY
Is there anything at all that you can do to bring a stop to this gross misconduct?
Yours sincerely,
Declan Heavey
